NEW! Glucopon^® 50 G—Eco-sound performance in a granule

The market for environmentally sound solutions in the home care and I&I segment is growing steadily as consumers are increasingly interested in products which contain renewable ingredients and respect the environment.
Glucopon^® 50 G is a granular APG^® which is produced from renewable, plant-derived raw materials, such as vegetable oils and starch. Glucopon^® 50 G combines in an excellent manner convenience, performance and eco-friendliness in one single product, making it a choice for formulators of powder detergents and solid cleaners for home care and I&I applications.
Due to its granular structure Glucopon^® 50 G is easy to handle, reducing the complexity of the production process. It also offers good cleaning performance, mildness to skin, good wetting properties and compatibility with all kinds of surfactants. The notable environmental characteristics of Glucopon^® 50 G makes it an ideal ingredient that fulfills the requirements for the formulation of eco-labeled products.

NEW! Aethoxal^® TTA—efficient stabilizing thickening

High efficiency, excellent stability and easy handling—consumers want products with excellent performance providing convenience at the same time. Our acrylic copolymer Aethoxal^® TTA perfectly meets these needs. It delivers multifunctional benefits like excellent rheology control and long term stabilization of e.g. wax particles, air bubbles or gel capsules over a broad pH range. Aethoxal^® TTA is compatible with anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, exhibits high salt and electrolyte tolerance and is cold processable as well as quickly and easily dispersable. Aethoxal^® TTA provides enhancing characteristics of product appearance for liquid laundry detergents, washing-up liquids and hard surface cleaners.

Dehypon^® GRA—for efficient P-free autodish detergents

Phosphates are important components in multifunctional automatic dishwashing detergents (ADD) fulfilling several functions necessary for the effective cleaning and rinsing of tableware. Due to environmental concerns and the enforcement of legislations in some countries, the market is demanding phosphate-free ADD formulations providing the same performance as the ones based on phosphate. Dehypon^® GRA  is our answer for the formulation of multifunctional phosphate-free ADD products without any compromise on performance.

Polyquart^® PRO—discover the power

Consumers want cleaners that clean efficiently and are time-saving. In order to fulfill this market demand, so-called "power-cleaners" became a trend. These cleaners show very often extreme pH – ranges, either very acidic (e.g. below pH 3) or very alkaline (above pH 10). Consequently all cleaner ingredients need to be stable under these pH conditions. We offer with Polyquart^® PRO a cleaner additive providing convenience claims like gloss, easy-to-clean-again or fast drying, which is surviving even the toughest conditions and fit into all type of formulations.

Plantatex^® HCC—textiles looking good and feeling good

Consumers' personal and laundry care routines have been transformed. There is a demand for new concepts, not only in clothing care but also in the care conveyed by clothing. Plantatex^® HCC helps protecting textiles from wear and tear based on the Care Crystals^™ technology. Plantatex^® HCC is designed to be formulated into fabric conditioner and ironing sprays to provide a fabric rejuvenation effect. Tumbling or ironing initiates a heat activation of the Care Crystals^™, forming a protective layer on the fabrics thus enabling textiles to remain looking good and feeling good.

Polyquart^® Ecoclean—green hard surface cleaners

Time-saving and easy-to-use – convenience has been consumers' primary demand of hard surface cleaners for several years. Today, consumers want environmentally sound cleaning products made from renewable raw materials without compromising on performance or convenience. With our recently launched Polyquart^® Ecoclean, we close the gap for formulating environmentally sound hard surface cleaners with up-to date convenience claims. Polyquart^® Ecoclean is an innovative polymer based on a renewable raw material, namely starch and supports claims like good wetting with spotless drying and being easy to clean again. Polyquart^® Ecoclean has a great eco-toxicological profile in being aerobically and anaerobically biodegradable, and is eligible for various eco-labels, including the European "Ecoflower" and the Nordic Swan. Polyquart^® Ecoclean modifies hard surfaces like ceramic tiles, glass and stainless steel to become more hydrophilic making it especially effective on oily soils. These benefits make Polyquart^® Ecoclean an ideal additive for floor, window, kitchen and bathroom cleaners, hard surface cleaning wipes, as well as multi-purpose cleaners – for household, as well as industrial and institutional cleaning applications.

Consumer demands on laundry detergents and fabric conditioners are increasing. Detergents and additives need to ensure that favorite clothing articles still look like new, even after many washes. Consumers want products that maintain the original color and protect fabrics from being worn out.
