The application of Repellan® is easily integrated into existing finishing processes. That means you can use standard industry machines to create the protective film. Untreated material is fed into a bath of Repellan®. Next, the fabric leaves the bath and is cured at a temperature of 130 -170 °C. From here it only takes the Repellan® film 1- 5 minutes to be cured and fixed. In the treatment bath, the fabric surface absorbs the Repellan® polymer (1), which fuse at a temperature of 130 -170 °C (2) and form an oil and/or water resistant film (3).
